Latorra, we appreciate you taking the fourth dimension to share your story with u.s.a. today. Where does your story begin?
I was a young entrepreneur looking to take on the globe of women empowerment and financial independence when suddenly I became extremely ill out of nowhere. In 2006 it started with losing feeling in my easily and feet and within a month I was paralyzed from my cervix down. I was told I'd never walk once more and never have children. With all the limitations and feeling worthless I didn't believe I'd have much of a love life or promising future. I decided to bet on me and accept audacious faith that I would do all the things they said I'd never do. It took the better part of a yr to go from a wheelchair to a walker to a cane and leg brace and eventually walking completely unassisted. I vicious in love with the love of my life, Corey Saxton and we have 2 miracle children together CJ and Nyelah. Soon after getting on my feet I began coaching and mentoring people who had health problems or that were dealing some level of paralysis. I've had the accolade of working with so many complete strangers that have become family. We've had people on life support move in to our home. There have been countless hospital visits and one on one sessions. It'due south my greatest passion to see people get their quantum and reach milestones, particularly the ones they were told they'd never do. Later on years of many people hearing my journey I was inspired to put a pen to my story. I realized that as much as I wanted to be in 10 places at one time that it was but one of me. I began to pray for a solution to reach more people. I was inspired to write my first volume "Today We Walk – Overcoming The Things That Paralyze Us". It has been an amazing journeying and I'm only getting started.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you lot draw information technology equally a relatively smooth road?
Learning to walk after being paralyzed is one or the hardest things I've e'er washed. On superlative of all of that, my diagnosis was a mystery and they never could quite effigy out what was happening to me. I was diagnosed with myoclonus with an unknown etiology. Myoclonus is involuntary nervus movement but they could not acquaintance it with whatever i disease. Information technology was listen-blowing to see so many specialists that ultimately couldn't cure me. I've fallen countless times, been extremely discouraged, and felt defeated many days. Just with God and the love of my family I was able to persevere and make information technology through.

I'm a personal development jitney, a speaker, and an writer. My husband Corey who is a pastor and I lead an inspired group of people at our Church Foundation Christian Ministries. We are a Blueprint Church and lead others to abound in five areas primarily. Those areas are Organized religion, Family, Finance, Fettle, and Focus.
What do you similar best about our city? What do yous like least?
I dearest our city. I love that I live in a place that at any given day I'k just a short bulldoze away from the beach, the mountains, and the snow. I'm a big fourth dimension foody and super excited that we accept some the best nutrient places in the globe.
